Ich habe ein Clevo (ehemals Kapok) 1300M Notebook. Nun habe ich versucht, mittels der Dateien von Clevo\'s Homepage ein BIOS-Update durchzuführen. Ich hab also mittels Win98-Boot-CD eine reine Eingabeaufforderung gebootet, und dann die fp.exe ausgeführt. Fehlermeldung: "4021.BIN file not found". Was denn nun??

Dear User,
Please visit this website http://www.ajp.co.uk/supportNew/index1.htm to find the BIOS, the model name is 1100P, if the CPU of your machine is PII then you should download R1.07 BIOS, if the CPU of your machine is PIII then you should download R1.23 BIOS.
Before you power on machine to refresh BIOS, you should open keyboard and adjust the switch of main board pin 1 and pin 2 to "ON" location, and it is necessary to boot up machine and refresh BIOS under pure DOS mode, for your information.

Daher meine Frage: Läuft der Clevo 1300P auch mit dem (neueren) BIOS in der Version 1.27?
Mein Clevo hat folgende Configuration: Pentium II 333MHz, 256MB Ram und 20GB Festplatte.
(die 256MB RAM gibt es bei BEST.Electronics, Lagerhausstr. 8, 83109 Großkarolinenfeld für ca. 60,-Eur plus Versand)
