Ich habe ein Firmwareupdate bei meinem Yamaha CRW2100S durchgeführt (von 1.0a auf 1.0n). Beim Updaten ist das Programm abgestürzt. Nach 45 Minuten habe ich es dann mit dem Taskmanager abgebrochen. Seitdem wird mir der Brenner mit der Bezeichnung 'Yamaha CRW2100S_Core' in der Systemsteuerung und beim booten angezeigt. Als Firmwareversion wird 1.0f angegeben. Die LED blinkt ununterbrochen und der Brenner läßt sich nicht öffnen. Kann mir jemand sagen, wie ich das Problem beheben kann und / oder woher ich vielleicht ein nicht ganz so frische Firmware bekommen kann ? Mein System : Asus A7V, AMD 1200, Dawicontrol 2976UW, Win98SE, IBM DTLA 307045

Note: The firmware and the installer utility program are exclusively for CRW2100s.
Do not use them for other models and devices.
It may damage the device if you use them for other models.
When the LED on front panel of the drive blinks in amber after running the updater,
which means the process has failed.
In that case, download the firmware file from our web site and run the update again.
Contents of the file
1. scf01302.bin the latest version of the firmware
2D2100inst.exe (version 4.0.0.1) the installer utility program
3Dreadme.txt
Usage note
Make sure to put these files in the same folder on harddisk (ex. desktop)
in order to use properly.
Instructions
* For Windows 95/98/98SE/Me user
1. Check the setting of "Auto insert notification" option
in properties of CRW2100s before installation.
2. If "Auto insert notification" is "ON", please disable it
and reboot the system.
3. Open the folder of the installer and double-click [2100inst.exe]
to start the program.
4. Then the message notifying you to disable "Auto insert notification" appears.
When you have already set this option as disabled status, press [Continue].
If you have not turn it off yet, press [Exit] to finish this program.
Go to properties of CRW2100s and disable it and then reboot the system
to start the installation again.
5. Please make sure CRW2100s is chosen as the target drive
(the drive to upgrade the firmware) in the dialogue.
6. The target firmware revision shows the version of the recorder
you have at this moment.
The source firmware revision shows the latest version of the firmware
for the recorder and the file name of the program.
7. Click [Update] to start the upgrade process.
8. The progress bar goes on to the end and the message
"The firmware has installed successfully" will appear.
9. Then set "Auto insert notification" option back to "On" and
reboot both the PC and the recorder to complete the upgrade process.
* For Windows NT4.0/2000 user
1. Open the folder of the installer and double-click [2100inst.exe]
to start the installer utility program.
2. Please make sure CRW2100s is chosen as target drive
(the drive to upgrade the firmware) in the dialogue.
3. The target firmware version shows the version of the recorder
you have at this moment.
The source firmware version shows the latest version of the firmware
for the recorder and the file name of the program.
4. Click [Update] to start the upgrade process.
5. The progress bar goes on to the end and the message
"The firmware has installed successfully" will appear.
6. Reboot both the PC and the recorder to complete the upgrade process.
