Ich habe ein internes Modem.
Es hießt:HSP56 MR
Hersteller:PCtel
Anschluß:Com4
Dies sind die Angaben, die Windows zum Modem macht. Jetzt weiß ich aber nicht, welchen Anschluß ich unter Suse Linux nehemen muss (vielleicht reicht auch nur Linux!!). Hier das Protokol. Ich habe verschiedene Anschlüße ausprobiert. Bei dem Anschluß /dev/ttyS3 kommt zum Schluß immer die Meldung
pppd: --> Modem not responding.
pppd: Connect script failed
pppd died: Connect script failed (exit code 8)
Nun das ganze Protokol:
