Hi all,
is it possible to insert a (1) 512 MB SDRAM DIMM onto a P2B LS and possibly mix it with other DIMMs, e.g. 128 MB?

Hi Peter !
Well, it is possible to insert an 512 MB SD-RAM DIMM onto a mainboard with the good old BX-Chipset, but you cannot use the full capacity of this memory module !!! From a 512 MB-Module the BX-Chipset can recognice and use only 256 MB, the rest of the capacity is not useable. I guess you want to upgade the memory up to the maximum, and the BX-chipset supports maximaly 1024 MB RAM, but for this purpose you can only use 4 x 256 MB double-sided DIMMs. Go to your local Hardware-Dealer and ask for compatible modules for your Aus P2B-LS-Mainboard with the BX-chipset, and then you certainly will recieve an compatible memory for your upgrade intensions.
Good Luck !!
