Verfolgung starten Optionen

Mainboard ASUSA7N8X-E deluxe -

- USB fehlt.
Ich habe hier einen PC mit dem im Betreff genannten Mainboard - das war jahrelang mein Lieblings- Mainboard. Habe damit "ibsn" PCs aufgebaut.
Nun habe ich hier einen PC stehen - der erkennt keinerlei USB- Geräte mehr. Weder an den vier rückseitigen Anschlüssen, noch wenn ich die auf dem Mainboard befindlichen Anschlüsse benutze.
Ich kann USB nur mit einer USB-to-PCI- Karte verwenden.
Das BIOS ist das letzte erhältliche, also aktuell und den CMOS- RAM hab ich auch schon resettet. Nichts.
Ansonsten kann ich nirgendwo Fehler feststellen, es sind alle Kondensatoren optisch in Ordnung und kein Bauelement (Northbridge zB) wird zu heiß.
Alle Anwendungen laufen mit optimaler Performance.
Meine Fragen an Euch:
Wie kann so ein Fehler entstehen?
Was ist mit dem Mainboard geschehen?
Habt Ihr so etwas schon einmal beobachtet?

Da bekommst Du bei lsusb -v (verbose=gesprächig) sämtlichen Schnulli angezeigt, aber wenn ein angeschlossenes Gerät am Onboard hängt und dieses taucht mit den 3 Controllern auf, sollte das einfache lsusb genügen.
