Hallo zusammen,
ich habe für mein Compaq Laptop m700 mein Power on Passwort vergessen und muss jetzt ein Hardwarereset durchführen. Alle Stromverbindungen (Akkus, Batterien, etc.) wurde von mir bereits 2 Std. entfernt > ohne Erfolg.
Welche Möglichkeiten habe ich noch?
Gibt es auf dem Mainboard auch noch eine Stromversorgung die getrennt werden muss?

5.11 RTC Battery
1. Save all work, exit all applications, and shut down the computer.
2. Remove the modem/combo card cover and the modem/combo card (Section 5.10).
3. Disconnect the RTC battery cable from the system board.

Der Akku muß natürlich raus sein und die Kiste darf nicht am el. Netz hängen.
