Hallo leute ich habe einen zweiten monitor angeschlossen.
Windows xp pro erkennt ihn auch an nur suse macht da probleme.
unterstützt suse 10.1 zwei monitore ???
Was muss ich einstellen das suse den zweiten monitor erkennt oder anzeigt???

da hab ich auch ne ganze Weile gebraucht, um das zum Laufen zu kriegen. Habs unter Debian eingerichtet. Das musste ich manuell in der XF86Config einrichten. Kann sein, dass die Konfigurationsdatei bei dir einen anderen Namen hat. Ich weiß nicht, ob SuSE auch XFree verwendet. Müsste in der /etc/X11 sein. Interessant wäre auch noch, was für eine Grafikkarte du hast, was für ein System (Notebook, Desktop-PC) und so weiter.
Ich poste dir hier mal die bei mir relevanten Teile der Config-Datei. Hab eine Nvidia-Grafikkarte mit zwei ausgängen, an denen die Bildschirme hängen. Der Linke ist ein BenQ mit DVI, der Rechte ein Fujitsu-Siemens mit VGA.
