Hallo Leute,ich hab da noch ein Board ohne CPU,vom Typ A Open AP53 / 95140-3 liegen. Welcher max CPU kann dort verbaut werden und welche Typen?? Wer kann mir helfen, Danke!

Q229: What is the difference between AP53-1 and AP53-3?
The major difference is the AP53-3 supports dual-power CPU, PP/MT (P55C), while AP53-1 doesn't. And because AP53-3 uses dual regulators, the heat problem of Cyrix 6x86 133+, 150+, 166+ are solved. We also replaced PCI IDSEL from AD28, 29, 30, 31 to AD20, 21, 22, 23 to follow the tradition of open market and prevent any incompatibility problems. The PnP configurations associated with IDSEL are automatically configured by BIOS, there is no need for user to aware of that. But because IDSEL changes, BIOS of AP53-3 can not be used for AP53-1. Every time when BIOS is updated, AOpen will release BIOS R3.xx for AP53-3 and R2.xx for AP53-1.

Auf dem AP53-3 läuft offiziell max. ein Pentium I MMX (P55C) 233MHz.
Mit neuestem Bios, einer VCore von 2,5V und einem Multiplikator von 2x sollte aber auch ein AMD K6-2 400MHz laufen (mit voller Geschwindigkeit).
Für 2,5V mußt bei Jumper 11 die Pins 5 & 6 schließen und sonst so jumpern wie 2,8V CPU VOLTAGE SELECTION (DUAL).
Die CPU SPEED mußt du so jumpern wie beim CX 6X86 166MHz:
