Matrox G400 - fit für P4 Intel basierte Boards?

Hallo,

ich will meine Multimedia Kiste (VCR und so...) ein wenig aufrüsten und das BX Board rausschmeißen. Dafür kommt ein 845\'er Board rein.
Verträgt sich das mit der G400, oder löst sich das Board in Rauch auf - die mögen ja nicht alle Grafikkarten?
Wie ist die Bildqualität im Vergleich zu einer 9200\'er Radeon? Ich will auf der Kiste nicht zocken, der Multimedia-PC hängt nur am TV und wird wenn\'s kniffeliger wird, per LAN ferngewartet. Videos kommen mit der Matrox ganz passabel rüber, aber Windows Menüs sehen räudig aus am TV.

Wenn in der part number 4A steht, läuft die Karte:

I own a Matrox G400 AGP, model #G4+MDHA32G, and I don't know if it will work in a new computer I am thinking of buying. I need to know the voltage of my Matrox card please

The card works on 3.3 and 1.5 volt but you have a 2X board and may not work properly on a 1.5 volt only motherboard.

- Our G-400 and later graphics cards, be it AGP4x or AGP2x, are compatible with virtually all motherboards.
However, if the motherboard calls for a 1.5V card ONLY to be installed, the 2x versions of our G400 card may not work properly.
We've identified the G400 boards that support AGP 4x transfer rates with
an additional '4A' in the part number: G4+MDH4A32GB/40.
G400 boards without the '4A' in the part number will be the models that may not work with 1.5V only motherboards.

Please note that all models of the Marvel G400, G450, G450 eTV, and G550 series are not affected as an agp 2x version of these cards do not exist.

Die Bildqualität der G400 ist definitiv viel besser (AFAIK die beste am Markt) als die der Radeon 9200.
