Habe mir heute dieses All-in-One-Gerät der Firma HP gekauft. Nach einer mehr oder weniger leichten Installation kann ich jetzt so ziemlich alles mit dem Gerät machen - nur nicht schwarz/weiss drucken. D.h. ich kann bunte PDF-Dokumente auch nur bunt ausdrucken. Bei meinem alten Drucker habe ich dann einfach "in Grauskala drucken" angeclickt und gut war...
Kann mir jemand auf die Sprünge helfen?

Das ist bei diesem Drucker nicht so einfach. Du musst die Farbpatrone herausnehmen und im
Treiber unter Toolbox/Konfiguration "Einzelne Tintenpatrone, schwarz" einstellen!
Hier, was HP dazu schreibt:
"Printing images in black and white or with only one print cartridge
The HP PSC 1100, 1200, and Officejet 4100 do not have a grayscale option in the print driver. If a print cartridge is out of ink or if you want to print in black and white only, it is possible to print using only one print cartridge. Color images will be printed in black and white when the color cartridge is removed. Grayscale images are automatically printed in grayscale even if both print cartridges are used.
NOTE: Images will not be printed in grayscale (256 shades of gray) when using only the black print cartridge. For best results, the image should be converted to grayscale and printed using both print cartridges.
Print quality may not be as good and printing will be slower than if both print cartridges are used. Follow these instructions to print using one ink cartridge:
Open the all-in-one and remove the empty print cartridge or remove the color cartridge if you wish to print color images in black and white. The check Print Cartridge light will flash; this is a normal and expected behavior.
Open the Director by double clicking the HP Director icon.
Click Settings, click Print Settings, and then click Printer Toolbox.
Select the Configuration tab. The screen shown below in Figure 2 will appear.

In the Configure Print Cartridges section, select either of the following settings:
If only the black print cartridge is installed, use the drop down menu to select One Black Print Cartridge.
If only the color print cartridge is installed, use the drop down menu to select One Tri-color Print Cartridge.
Click Apply and close the Printer Toolbox by clicking on the X in the top right hand corner of the Toolbox.
Print using the same methods you normally use.
A message may appear that states: "Printing in reserve mode". Click Continue if this message appears to print the page.
It will be necessary to restore the Print Cartridge configuration once the second ink cartridge is reinstalled. If the print cartridge removed is not out of ink and will be removed for more than one day, place the print cartridge in a sealed plastic bag."
