Alter Gericom Laptop und total schrottes Bios! Neues muss her! H

Hallo Leute,


erfahrungsgemäß weiß ich dass hier einige Leute vom Fach rumschwirren, denn ich habe ein kleines nein großes Problem:


Ich habe einen Gericom Overdose 2 Laptop mit 700Mhz geschenkt bekommen als gegenleistung 2er Hardwarereperaturen.


Ich will WinXP raufspielen aber dabei kommt der tolle BAD_POOL_CALLER Bluescreen!


Der Hersteller labert nur Sch.. und behautet das Modell wäre einfach nur komplett inkompatibel zu win2000 und XP! Als ich ihn dann fragte welche Hardware genau, hatte er keine Antwort!


Ich tippe mal das BIOS will einfach nicht und suche nun ein Update!!!!


(Nein den Arbeitsspeicher habe ich schon auf 256MB erweitert!)


Woher bekomme ich das Bios?


Gericom.com ist nur Mist!!


Es ist ein SystemSoft MobilePRO BIOS! (SystemSoft hat diese Sektion nur leider abgegeben, also Ergebniss=0)


Das Board scheint nach Diagnosetool ein KAPOK Intel 440BX/ZX zu sein!


mit dem Chip: Intel 82440BX/ZX Serie


Aber leider ist Kapok ja =CLEVO


Nur welches Model???


 


Ich hoffe ihr könnt mir weiterhelfen!?!?


Ich brauche den Laptop dringend mit einem stabilen Betriebsystem, welches nicht auf DOS :-( basiert!!

Auf ftp://ftp.gericom.com war ich schon nur unter \mainb\bios\
existiert KEIN Ordner mit meinem 440BX/ZX!!!

Ich habe von Sandra noch ein paar Infos raussuchen lassen vielleicht, wisst ihr ja jetzt einen Rat!
