ich hab mit regseeker mal die reg durchgeblasen und dabei diesen autostart eintrag gefunden: ctfmon.exe.
wenn ich ihn lösche (ins backup verschiebe), ist er beim nächsten win xp start wieder da.
was ist das fürn teil?

die ctfmon.exe ist bei mir nach der Installation vom IE7 im Autostart aufgetaucht.
Lösung: Systemsteuerung/Regions- und Sprachenoptionen/Sprachen/Details/Erweitert:
Hier ein Häkchen bei "Alle erweiterten Textdienste deaktivieren" setzen.
Nicht mehr und nicht weniger..

Wer denkt schon, wenn etwas nicht mehr funktioniert, das daran ein vor 2 Monaten gelöschter Schlüssel daran Schuld sein könnte?

Warum's wieder da war?
Es ist ein Systemdienst.
Wenn Windows nicht im abgesischerten Modus hochgefahren wird und das Tool dann nicht unregistriert wird (regsvr.exe),
dann merkt windows beim nächsten Start, dasss da etwas fehlt und ersetzt es.
(Eine eigentlich nützliche Funktion...)
