Mein PC mit XP home wird immer wieder unerträglich langsam. Programme starten erst nach Minuten. Im task manager sieht man, dass spoolsv.exe 98 % der Leistung bindet. Wenn ich den Prozess beende, arbeitet der PC normal. Spoolsv.exe wird aber wohl in kurzen Abständen wieder aktiviert und man kann natürlich nicht drucken, wenn der Prozess beendet ist. Was kann ich tun?

The default port monitors are:
AppleTalk Printing Devices (When Services for Macintosh is installed)
BJ Language Monitor
Local Port
PJL Language Monitor
Standard TCP/IP Port
USB Monitor
Windows NT Fax Monitor
LPR Port
We would then need to stop and restart the Print Spooler service for these changes to take affect. Once this is done watch
the Spoolsv.exe process to see if it still uses a high percentage of CPU.
