Festplatte kann man nicht formatieren

Hi,
Ich kann meine 40GB Festolatte nicht formatieren weder von windos aus, noch wenn ich windos neu instalieren will.

...bootdisk probiert und das ganze von dos aus?

* erst fdisk zum partitionieren
* dann format zum formatieren

Was hast du denn für ein Mainboard? Gegebenenfalls mal BIOS update, da ältere Mainboards ursprünglich nur Platten bis 36 GB unterstützen.
