The upgrade of the UD Agent this past week has introduced a problem that we are currently working to resolve. Until the problem is fixed you will experience significant delays when your Agent attempts to connect to the server.
This is not a band-width problem, we have more than enough. This is not a server quantity problem, again we have more than we need for this project. This is a problem with the program that manages the transactions between the servers and the database. It is taking substantially longer to complete even a simple transaction such as returning a result and getting a new work unit.
When will this be resolved? As quickly as possible, fixing this is our top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we appreciate your continued patience and support.

Oh Mann, nach 4 1/2 Tagen und maechtigen Protesten hat sich endlich mal
einer von denen zur Situatuion geaeussert. Deshalb kann ich es momentan
niemandem empfehlen neu einzusteigen bzw. uebel nehmen zu pausieren.
Vor allem Modemuser bzw. alle die fuer Ihren Internetzugang je
Verbindung zahlen muessen rate ich momentan dringend von UD ab. Die
eine Flat haben koennen es trotz massiver Wartezeit weiter versuchen.

PS: Endlich genug Zeit mal wieder Staub aus dem Rechner zu entfernen,
das System zu entruempeln/optimieren und Vollbackups zu fahren.

We have tried to activate some of the longer workunits we have to help with the short workunits people are seeing coming across the wire. Hopefully you should see a significant increase in the workunit times.
It is good to note that while on average they may be long workunits there is the possibility that newer faster CPU's will run right through any workunit given to them.
We are currently working hard on "Why is the upgrade not done yet" problem. We have made some head room and continue to try and improve things.
As always thank you for sticking it out. I know at times it can be frustrating. The last thing we wanted to do was frustrate anyone. Hopefully we can have things smoothed out soon.

Na ja immerhin bleibt denen dadurch mehr Zeit die Fehler zu finden und
ggf. bis zur Einfuehrung von Phase II (Anfang Juli ?)zu korrigieren.
Nach einem C-ABL mit 01 h 12 m 26 s kam ein PTP (min. 7 h) ...
Bei mir hat das PTP 4,5h gedauert. Zwei mal hintereinander. Dann kam wieder "Standart". Ich brauche auch immer zwei drei Stunden, um überhaupt Kontakt mit dem Server zu bekommen. Dann dauert es immerhin die selbe Zeit, bis ich neue Daten erhalte. Bleibe aber trotzdem am Ball. Denn Beharrlichkeit zahlt sich immer aus ;-]
