Touchpad meines WM 8850-mid Netbooks funktioniert nicht mehr

Hallo!
Ich hoffe, ihr könnt mir helfen - ich dreh' bald am Rad!
Wie schon beschrieben habe ich ein WM (WonderMedia) 8850 Netbook. Auf dem "Deckel" steht auch "Next Wolf", falls das was hilft. Jedenfalls hat das Touchpad von heute auf morgen aufgehört, zu funktionieren. Das kam schonmal vor, also hatte ich geforscht und rausgefunden, daß die Fn-Taste + irgendeine F-Taste das Problem lösen kann. Hatte damals gefunzt, jetzt nicht. Ich habe mittlerweile jede nur denkbare Tastenkombi probiert. Ich habe auch kein Firmware-Update gemacht. Eine Maus anzuschließen geht aber ohne Probleme.
Auf dem Netbook ist Android 4.0.3 Icecream Sandwich, die Kernel-Version ist 3.0.8, die Build-Nummer ist 4.0.3 ICS und dann noch Ver. 1.5.1. - 20121112.035808. Ob die letze Nummer notwendig ist, weiß ich nicht.
Jedenfalls funktioniert das Touchpad nicht, obwohl ich absolut nichts verändert habe.
MÜSSTE ich vielleicht was ändern oder updaten, damit es wieder geht?
Ich wäre sehr dankbar, wenn mir jemand helfen kann!

For those of you getting the unforturnately andriod 4.0 has stopped, i was getting the same message and did this to make mine work. As you are getting this error message, attempt to go to the settings via buttons on the side of the tablet or the settings button on bottom of the screen. On system settings—> Backup & reset—-> Factory data reset. Once you reset, the tablet it will go through a series of reboots and resets and finally will finally reboot with a fresh clean slate of ICS 4.0 Android.

Hallo und danke für die schnelle Antwort! Billig war das Ding, stimmt, aber bis jetzt hat es ganz gut funktioniert. Und das mit dem Nadelknopf habe ich auch schon probiert, aber es geht immernoch nicht. Vielleicht ist das Touchpad ja schlicht und einfach hinüber und ich kann fummeln solange ich will. *seufz*
