Hallo, möchte jemand ein linuxkompatibles Notebook von Dell:

Lenovo will auch linuxkompatible Notebooks ausliefern.
AFAIR tun sie das auch schon. Es gab glaub ich mal ein r60 mit SLED. Auf meinem r50e läuft Debian einwandfrei, alle Extras die ich benötige funktionieren auch: WLAN, S3, S4, ThinkLight, Buttons, Bildschirmanzeigen für Sound und Helligkeit usw. Mag sein, dass das interne Modem nicht arbeitet, aber das dürfte für die meinsten Anwender auch nicht von Belang sein.

Bis jetzt ist es reiner Zufall ob die Notebooks von Lenovo unter Linux laufen.
