Debian Probleme mit XFree86

Hallo,

ich bin ziemlich neu in der Linux(Debian) Gemeinschaft...8)
Leider komme ich ohne Hilfe nicht weiter. Ich möchte gern XFree zum laufen kriegen, erst hatte ich das Problem das die Mouse nicht lief. Doch das scheint nun behoben zu sein. Nun habe ich ein anderes Problem. Hier der Ende vom XFree.log

in einem editor deiner wahl (meine empfehlung: mcedit, zu installieren mit "apt-get install mc") und mach vor die zeilen

Hallo,

erstmal THX für die Antwort, nun habe ich ein weiteres Problem.
Wenn ich den XServer starte bleibt er so stehen....siehe unten !!!
Was soll ich da nun machen ? Kann man irgentwie den Status des X-Server kontrollieren ?

Ich habe auch versucht den Server mit folgender Option zu starten...kein Erfolg !

Was ich sehr komisch finde ist das er einfachstehen bleibt und nichts sagt...garnichts!

Hier ich habe mal die log Datei und die Config an sich !!! Ich habe versucht alle zu entfernen ! Mein Rechner hat folgende Komponeten 500 AMD K6; 128 SDRAM; 120 GB Festplatte; billig Board; Serial Maus an Com 1; TFT Mon.

Ich hatte alles nochmal aufgesetzt, aber ich bin hier dann wieder stehen geblieben. Ich verzweifel langsam.

das ist für eine alte serielle maus...
ändere mal das protokoll zu "ps/2" für eine ps2- oder usb-maus (oder imps/2 für eine maus mit rad) und das gerät zu /dev/psaux oder /dev/mouse

Danke das hat mir auch weiter geholfen....denn er meinte immer das er nicht genüg speicher hat um den Display zu öffnen. Aber habe ich nun irgenwelche nachteile dadurch?

Ich habe ne AGP Creative Blaster Banshee 16 MB drin !
