Hallo!
Ich habe Mandrake 7.1 installiert und meinen ISDN-Internet-Zugang konfiguriert, wie auch schon unter RedHat 6.1 und 6.2.
Bei RedHat lief alles wunderbar, bei Mandrake ist tote Hose!

Ich habe auf der pro-linux Homepage gelesen, daß das isdn4k-utils Paket von Mandrake 7.1 nicht geht und man ein anderes nehmen soll.
Ich habe diverse andere probiert, auch in Kombination mit verschiedenen kISDN, läuft aber trotzdem nicht.
In den /var/log/messages steht auch was von CSLIP. Ich weiß nicht was das ist und wo es herkommt, ich habe es in keinem installierten Paket gefunden.
Die Pfade zu ipppd und modprobe waren in kISDN übrigens korrekt konfiguriert.
Ein neu kompilierter Kernel nützte auch nichts.
Als ich dann aus Experimentierfreude ein RedHat 6.2-Update über Mandrake 7.1 laufen ließ, funktionierte mein ISDN dann.
Der Fehler müßte sich aber doch auch innerhalb Mandrake beheben lassen. In den /var/log/messages ist ja auch eine brauchbare Fehlermeldung, mit der ich nur leider nicht allzuviel anfangen kann.
Kann mir jemand diese Fehlermeldung genauer erklären und mir möglichst genau sagen, was ich tun könnte?
