GigaCube's ATI RadeOn 9600 Pro - TV Overscan Problem

Hello!

I have GigaCube's Graphics card with ATI RadeOn 9600Pro GPU and Asus P4PE MB with P4@2.4G & 512MB DDR@333MHz. I have problem regarding TV-Output:

I'm not able to extend the picture to fill whole TV-Screen (aka overscan mode). I have black borders on all sides, the biggest are top and bottom. I also tried to turn on the "Overscan" button in ATI control panel, but nothing changes. Does anyone have a clue?

Before I had GF4 Ti4200 and I could turn on the Overscan mode with help of a program TVTool on the same tv-set (Panasonic TX-28 - 70cm/100Hz).

Another problem is that graphics card doesn't run stable at default frequencies (400MHz GPU & 200MHz DDR). After UNDER-CLOCKING it to 387MHz GPU and overclocking DDR to 220MHz it runs rock-stable (i used program RadLinker/RadClocker). Anyone have similar problems with Ati RadeOn 9600Pro?

I'm using ATI Drivers 7.84, as with 7.88 system was even more unstable at default frequencies.

did you tried the 3.4 catylst driver ? (www.ati.com)
the tool "rage3d tweaker" has an overscan funktion... this schould fix your TV-Out problem... (get it there: http://www.rage3d.com/r3dtweak/dload/R3Dtweak38c.exe)

I tried this also and doesn't help. Enabling Overscan doesn't do nothing :(

Lately I tried also newest Catalyst 3.5 drivers. No difference in terms of overscan except that now there isn't anymore any overscan button in control panel (also if you "enable" it in R3D Tweak)

Only difference with this new 3.5 drivers is that card is now even a lot more unstable. It stays stable only at GPU frequency of 333MHz or less!!! It should be at 400MHz (factory settings) :((((
